Attorney Veronica Tunitsky

Attorney Veronica Tunitsky was always destined to serve the immigrant community and it began over twenty-five years ago when her family set out on the arduous journey from religious and ethnic persecution they suffered in the former Soviet Union to the safe haven and freedom of the United States.

Ms. Tunitsky received her legal education at the University of Houston Law Center where she had the opportunity to participate in the renowned Immigration Clinic representing victims of abuse, oppression, and injustice.  This invaluable scholastic and practical opportunity gave meaning to the immortal words etched on the façade of Lady Liberty: "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free ..." the spirit of which continues to inspire her work.  In 2003, Ms. Tunitsky formed the Law Office of Veronica Tunitsky dedicated to serving a culturally diverse immigration community with an uncompromising passion for service and justice.

Ms. Tunitsky has never forgotten her roots and maintains her devotion to community service regularly volunteering her legal services with the Houston Volunteers Lawyers Association, Neighborhood Centers, and Artemis Justice Center aimed at advocating for the prevention of domestic violence and human trafficking of victims of abuse and exploitation.

Ms. Tunitsky is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association.  Ms. Tunitsky is fluent in Russian.

When not practicing law, Ms. Tunitsky is true to her first love - classical music and arts - and enjoys partaking in the many cultural events offered in Houston.  She is a voracious reader and travel enthusiast.  She lives in Houston with her family.
